ABOUT

This will be the TENTH ‘Andy & Opie Kid’s Fishing Tournament’. 

Techno Goober started this event as a way to encourage local children and parents to spend quality time together, outside! As the event grows & gains momentum each year, members of the community and local businesses have continued to generously contribute to the cause, making sure that every child – no matter their financial means – can be involved, have fun & enjoy a day of fishing with family and friends!

 

When:  Saturday, June 1st, 2024
Where: Milton Memorial Park

FREE Registration begins at 8 AM
Fishing will be from 9 AM to NOON.
All winners will be announced by 1 PM.
*Winners will be determined by the length of the largest fish caught, between 9 AM – NOON.
Participants may record more than one fish with the volunteers, however, only the largest catch will be considered. 

Age groups: 7 & under, 8-12 & 13-17
*There is a Girls’ & Boys’ Division, in an effort to create MORE chances to win a trophy and prizes.

ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AND HAVE A WAIVER SIGNED AT REGISTRATION!

FAQ

Will bait be provided?
YES, bait is provided every year & there are volunteers to help you prepare your rods.

Will lunch be provided?
YES, Kona Ice will be available to purchase from 11 - 1 and Free Hot Dogs for each person will be available.

How do I sign my child up for this event?
Please register your child BEFORE the event, by filling out the form, and bringing it with you on the day of the event. OR show up in Milton Memorial Park at 8 AM on June 1st, 2024 and register.

Does this event cost anything?
Registration is FREE!
